Hi All

So if I go for new coilovers what else should I be upgrading at the same time??

Thanks

Rear drop links will probably be shagged.
Usually need cutting off.

How is the rest of the car?
Checked your subframe? Sometimes the bolts are so rusted in you can't get an alignment done which is a 100% necessity when fitting new coilovers.

My car has had polybushes and hardrace arms fitted.
Camber bolts and adjustable droplinks are on the to do list.
You don't need to do them unless your stock items are past it but nice to have.

Look at my shopping list from June/July in the Performance/Suspension section: front and rear droplinks are recommended and would save you a lot of time to just angle grind them off, rather than wasting hours undoing them and then probably still needed to unpick them to replace all the rubbers. No need to uppgrade - just a decent OEM equiv replacement as even if the bolts are able to be undone, even my <11yr old (64k mile) rubber was pretty ratty, so older will be worse...

You'll also need rear CAM bolts (one pair)... otherwise your rear camber won't be adjustable. I got Eibach EZ-cam's for ~£22 delivered off eBay and "TB", the suspension guru at WIM rated them as being "about as good as you can get for this setup"... just remember that they run MUCH lower torque than the stock cam bolts (134lb/ft vs 173lb/ft, IIRC). And make sure you install them correctly - see the photo's / diagrams on the thread I mentioned previously!
