Poor MR2, I thought he was going to save it there for a minute.

Never mind 5.48, check out 9.35... The Capri sending it round the same bend without any trouble [emoji23].
The yellow flags and track cleanup/repairs will have cost him more than the damage to the 2, it's why we didn't do it.
Loving the driving gloves though, no helmets or anything but styling it with the gloves.[emoji851]

What happened to his brakes? Seems like he had almost complete brake failure or severe freakin fade coming into the corner.
As he's going backwards, the brake lights are on and the wheels are spinning fast. No brakes!

That would explain that entry speed.

He was licking it way harder than most of these guys. Damage didn't look too bad either.

They do seem to step out quick when they go.

I have thoughts of a November road trip to combine some work travel I need to do with a trip round the ring. This sort of stuff puts me off though. The idea of stacking the car and then having to deal with somehow getting home from there plus the bills :(

Have you read the list of conditions etc? I did a year or so ago when we were supposed to be doing it.
Apart from your own damages and any to the track/barriers you're also held liable for any other vehicles that might go off on your lost fluids etc. There's some real horror stories about costs incurred.

I think that's the final nail in the coffin. That, the sound limits and the fact the week I need to go there's only public sessions at the weekend.

Quite an impressive spin, takes some doing to make it react like that!
