Post by: a on November 23, 2018, 20:20
Hi

Are there any problems with fitting Lotus Elise S1 wheels
to our cars?

Cheers

Besides having a different stud pattern, different centre bore, and not fitting in any way?  ;)

Sorry, sarcasm off.  But they don't fit.

There are other lotus models with a 4 x 100 stud pattern, but the centre bore is still bigger... and only by 2mm, meaning the difference is too small to be taken up by a spigot ring. You'd need to bore out the centre bore AND then fit spigot rings.

All in all - not worth it.

Get a nice light set of alloys that fit.  Brands like team dynamics are phenomenally strong and light considering how cheap they are.

If you want to fit lotus wheels you need to look at S2 Elise with 1zz or 2zz engines.
As above S1 no good.
