Am new and not quite sure what I'm talking about so any help would be appreciated.
My engine went last year up in smoke due lack of oil I think as when it had it's service it was nver topped up.
Anyway, I have been offered a 1ZZ-FE VVTLI out of a celica running at 190 break for just over £1300 with 12,000 miles on the clock, they said the only thing that wouldn't fit is the wireing loom which comes with it.
Would this be exspensive to fit into my Mr2 roadster?

2 seperate engines.
th 1zzfe out of teh celica is exactly the same as th engine that blew. and only puts out 138bhp
the engine from the celica that puts out 190bhp is the 2zzge (with VVTLi)
yes it will fit, and yes it's been done. do a search on 2zz for more info.
the 1zz won't need wiring loom alterations. the 2zz will (and your better using the 6speed box that comes with it as well)
before you buy it however see if you can get insured, not many companies will cover you for a engine transplant with an engine not fitted as stock.
