Title: Uprated radiator
Post by: mikek on December 10, 2018, 16:00
Looking for recommendations.....

If I've got to replace it I might as well upgrade it especially as it might get some track time this year

Thanks

Mishimoto or Koyo are great possibly overkill on NA.
Jap Speed if you want something cheaper.

As long as it has alloy end tanks and sufficient surface area, you're all good.

Not so easy for me.

I'm staying away after my brand new one failed after a few thousand miles.
Forums are littered with stories of poor build quality on Mishimoto radiators...

Probably also because it's one of the most used radiators. Statistics!
It's definitely in the "budget" range. But, there's also a reason why it's so popular.
Getting one made isn't as expensive as one might think...

Me too, I am sure thats what the sticker says.

There may of course be lots of caveats and conditions to their warranty though!

It would seem the warranty, like the radiator, is not watertight!

The folks that manufactured my TTE intercooler BMR are predominately rad manufacturers

Thay make rads for all the top brands.

Might be worth the question

just a thought
