Do facelift rear light lenses fit on pre facelift housings ?

Yes

I'm not going to outright disagree with Gaz but there's a massive difference in the housings and the way the bulbs sit. The FL lenses might foul on the internals and at the least look a bit "wrong".

Really?   I thought they swapped no problem....which is why I have a pair, but working on a mod' first before fitting them later.

EDIT...... Looks like I've misunderstood the question.... I assumed whole units....if the O/P means a lens swap......Midlife is more informed.

Well I stand to be corrected obviously but the usual route to go FL is to swap the full unit, otherwise everyone would just buy a brand new, shiny set of FL covers for around £65 and stick them on...
