Title: TRD exhaust backbox installation - bits needed
Post by: dn on January 4, 2019, 01:58
Hi all,

I should soon be receiving my TRD backbox and was thinking about the parts I'll be wanting to replace when I install it. I'll take the bumper off beforehand if weather permits to take a look at anything obviously needing replaced, but was wondering if I could get some guidance on things I will a) definitely need to replace e.g. the 'crush' gasket, I assume; and b) things that might need replaced e.g. any bolts or nuts.

I'm planning on making some recordings once it's installed as I wasn't able to find a decent recording of the sound, hope that helps someone considering picking one up :)

Thanks!

Gaskets a definite, treat yourself to Toyota oem even though they may cost more than generic ones, believe me it will  save you a lot of hassle...
