Title: Rear Strut Brace question???

Looking to get myself a Megillian Motorsport rear strut brace.

But as my car is completely stock in the chassis/handling department apart from some AR bushes and TRD door stabilizers, will a updated rear Strut brace affect the handling in a BAD way?

Nope. It looks a bit jazzier than the stock brace. That's about the only change

It made the least/marginal improvement of any of the braces i fitted. Front strut is a far better use of your cash

Agreed. That and the magic underbody brace.

Would love to fit one at the front. Just doesn't appeal to me having to remove or chop up the boot trim

Not as bad as it seems you can cut notches in it with a Stanley knife for the strut brace to slip under. Get the ultra racing cranked version, you can even keep the frunk lid. There's already one on the rear that does the same job, nothing on the front though :-\ alternatively send the cash direct to me, you'll never see it again and I won't make a bit of difference to your car, basically the same outcome, but I'll get some new trainers  ;)

OK been here before but let's do it again.

Good quality tyres
Suspension upgrade or refresh
Mid brace
Front strut brace
Bushes maybe

This should be the first handling mods.
Rear has the least effect you possibly won't even notice any difference if you've got worn out suspension

I have heard the suggestion that the rear brace is there to brace the firewall and help the roof rather than a handling mod.

I dont have a rear brace at all (and my roof is not very good!).

Didn't know the Ultra Racing brave allowed you to open the frunk. Is that the standard one or a special version?

I think it's more a case of slipping the frunk under it into the catches and retaining clips, rather than actual opening it on the hinges?

yup - you basically just take the lid on and off - it's quite easy. I don't have a frunk plastic cover as I don't want to cut mine up.. it's just sat in the garage.
