Title: Induction Kits
Post by: Anonymous on March 24, 2005, 12:45
I have read all the posts regarding induction kits but am a bit confused  s:oops:  s:oops:   I no everyone thinks the apexi is the best but is that only for the imported cars   s:!: :!: s:!:    s:oops:  s:oops:    Also someone mentioned about a Green Kit not sure about that either due to the intake pipe having to be taken and placed down the side vent. What i am looking for is the best sound which is safest for the engine!! With no complications i no iam really sad. And also the best place to by it from, would be great too thanks  s:!: :!: s:!:

Regards

Chris  s:) :) s:)

Chris,

To keep this simple I'll generalise a bit

First point, import Japan, EU or UK will make no difference as to which kit is suitable.

If you want the best sound get the Apexi.

If you want teh best performance things are more complex, personally I favour a replacement inlet pipe to teh stock airbox, and a drop in panel filter.

Others may disagree.

The Green solution isn't a kit persee, you would need to buy teh bits and make it work. The only one with experience is xdesign and he seems happy.

any/all will be safe for your engine though personally I would avoid a metal mesh filter like blitz use, and anything by HKS as teh filtration quality is frankly crap.
