Title: Tyre Life
Post by: Johnny5 on March 30, 2019, 18:09
Hi All,
Just got 4 AD08Rs fitted to my newly refurbished summer alloys, and I'm wondering how long they're gonna last.

Took off my winter wheels and Vredestein all season tyres, measured them, and there is 6mm left on the rear and 7mm front, after 5,000 miles, four and a half months and a heavy right foot.

I measured the Yokos, and there is 7mm on the rear, and 6.5mm front, brand new!

How long have I got???

They do OK. I put over 5 thousand miles on a set when I had the turbo car and they were perfectly fine when I sold them. I don't do burn outs skids or any other silly stuff.

My rears are almost due replacement. Another couple months. I bought these 1st of December 2017.
So they last about 1.5 years for me and do between 9-10k

Sounds like I've got a couple of years.  Enjoying them BTW.  I'll do a review soon on the Tyres, Tyres, Tyres thread.  Happy driving everyone.
