Title: Red fabric seats question
Post by: MVV on June 22, 2019, 10:32
I am gradually bringing my late 2005 car back to new looking. Most recently adding new front lights which makes a huge difference.
So I've been musing on seats next. I have the 'Maltese Whorehouse' upholstery, red with black fishnets and was going to have them re-upholstered in leather.
On reflection I think just replacing them with new versions of the same would be best. Is this even an option?

Quite common for people to fit new interiors (seats and the matching door cards).

I would imagine it would be something like half the price of a retrim?

Best to speak to the usual specialist breakers and see what they have in and maybe get them to look out for what you want?

Thanks. I was thinking brand new. The seats are in good nick but must have faded a bit.

There's a how-to on removing them on here....he got them cleaner by putting them in a washing machine than he could in the car.
