Title: New tyres for original wheels
Post by: Scooby250 on July 14, 2019, 22:07
Hi All,

I have recently got hold of some original 5 spoke wheels 15" for the front and 16" for the rear. I have been refurbishing them as they were in a bit of a state.
I have a 2003 face lift version and standard suspension at present but I am looking at lowering it by 30mm next year.
So my question is what size tyres can I put on them?
Also what make of tyres would you advise?

Hankook Ventus Prime 3 K125

Some folk like, & others hate Toyo's because of the soft sidewall.  From personal experience the Uniroyal is similar, - spoilt an MX -5.
Falken are well liked by quite a lot of folk...but aren't as good according to that test.
