I got hold a of a couple of Wilwood brake calipers for the front of my MR2. (I will make my own adapters) It appears that they only fit with bigger disks. Can someone tell me what disks would fit that are about 270mm diameter. Perhaps a standard disk from another toyota might have all same dimensions but a little bigger diameter? Has any one done this before?
It seems my only other option is to buy expensive Wilwood disks.

Freaky parts make bigger brakes for the roadster using wildwood calipers.
They machined a set of disks I think maybe from a Celica.
Have a search.
Check the space available in the wheels fitted first.

Not needed, the car is very light already so doesn't really need larger brakes, suggest simply upgrading the disc type and pad compound.
If you could reproduce the same brackets that is used for the Wilwood Powerlite Radial Mount P/N 120-8729 that would be the way to go.
It not only uses the same stock rotors the pad area is the same as stock. This will keep the brake proportioning correct.
It would sell very well and will be a performance improvement in saving a good bit of unsprung weight.
Big brake kits for the front was tried a very long time ago which actually had the opposite effect or negligible braking improvement.
Thanks for all the input guys, Just let you know the calipers I have are the standard Dynalight. My goal was to use the standard disks, but (if needed) I can go a little bigger because I have 16 inch wheels upfront. The radial mounted calipers would be the best but I got good deal on these calipers and I thought I would give it try. The main goal was to reduce the un-sprung weight of the wheels. If it doesn't work then I will leave the original calipers on, so big loss.
I will check Freaky parts to see what they have.

The old avensis had discs 295x26mm.
They are 5x 100 but has the correct 54.1 centerbore.
You need to drill 3 new holes to make it 4x100
There is also 275mm discs from corolla t-sport
