Title: Polybush rear suspension arms???
Post by: MR2Adam on August 19, 2019, 22:38
How hard is it to fit new polybushes into the rear suspension arms?

And what are the best ways of removing them?

A press works best, short of that.. Kill it with fire!!

@Bossworld, has this been one of your tasks?

Suppose that is one way of doing it! Could you cut them out? As they are rubber round the outside...

Harder than it looks but yes. Especially if they're still actually glued to the arm.

I saw some do it using a vice and two long sockets. One to push, and one to create space for the bush to go into

That's what I was trying to work out using a vice! Good thinking 👍

Make sure it's square with the arm though. Or keep your face away from the top of the vice, in case it slips and you get a socket in your eye :)
Safety first and all

No, thank the lord.  Paid a shed load of money to have my replacement sub frame fitted by someone else and I think he had to get some stuff remachined.
