Post by: JB21 on September 15, 2019, 12:47
Would a Lotus remap for the Exige S2 2ZZ work on the a Celica 2ZZ engine and ECU rsn in the Roadster or do lotus run a different ECU?

Can't remap 1zz or 2zz ecu.

That's why we all end up using piggybacks or standalone

Can't remap a Toyota 1zz/2zz ecu. Presumably Lotus used a different ecu and so people have cracked and remapped it.
But that won't help you in a Toyota!

And it's likely a DBW. So no good for us. Not a denso ecu, entirely different.

I'll give you a shout mate if I can ever find a used PFC, as £1000 for a new one is not going to happen.

Do these maps lower the lift point?
