Title: Paint advice
Post by: Zxrob on September 18, 2019, 21:17
Hi all

Seeking some advice

My MR2 has a few blemishes in the paint at the rear of the car, best way to describe it is like water marks, I've tried various polishes and cutting compounds but cant remove the marks

I have read a few articles were it is described as "acid rain" marks, if thats the case, whats the best stuff to remove them

Any advice appreciated

Cheers Rob

I'm no detailing expert, but if a cutting compound won't shift it, I can't think of anything that will.
Have you tried farecla G3 that stuff is great.

You could tey claybar or wetsanding the area with superfine sandpaper and buffing it out.
