Title: Flexy options
Post by: Gaz mr-s on September 30, 2019, 21:29
One of my flexy's on a standard cat has gone.  I'm weighing up the options. I could go Cats 2u, a Malian, or a used o/e. Problem with the latter is it could go a week after fitting.
Another option is buying new flexy's & getting them welded onto the o/e cat.

Has anyone done so, what size is needed, & from where?

I got new flexis welded on. Massively cheaper.

Can't remember exactly where from, but it was an exhaust supplies company. Just measure up the size you need, cut the old ones off, and weld the new ones on.

I have done now. Looks like they may be the smallest sold, 50 x 100mm.
