Possibly not so weird, less of the car is in the danger zone, when at a junction for instance.

Yeah functionally it makes sense, but aesthetically it looks strange

Weird, safe, ugly, practical, what about the corners??!!
Never mind environmental crap, crumple zones, cubby space, fuel economy, resale value, in car entertainment, whatever.

The brochure captures the tool and it´s purpose as best as possible; the car ís the entertainment thataway  8)
