Mark has visited with his lovely sable Red Edition.
We spent a convivial couple of hours removing buggered bolts and fitting his new Superbrace.
Lovely man!
I'll let him tell you all what he thinks of his new addition.
Count all your sockets tools pets even. The man lives in Catford. Nuff said.
Dont include the 10mm one though, that one will have disappeared on its own!
The trick is to have dozens of the buggers and leave them all over the place. ;)
Thanks
@Carolyn and David for having me, no way could I have fit that without your tools and experience! Always a pleasure to catch up too.
Socket sets are all still there :)) but we did manage to snap 3 drill bits!
Even just taking the car around the block I could feel steering response improvements and throwing it over a few speedbumps, it sure does feel even more together than with the breastplate I had previously. It's cut down on rattles in the cabin too, which I didn't expect.
Really pleased with it and was good to catch up over a brew (a worthwhile reward!)
Would definitely recommend it. I'll have to be a little more careful over bumps as it does reduce ground clearance a little, but I'm going to replace lowering springs with something less aggressive soon. No more straddling those speed bumps, but the suspension working better generally means taking the bump in its stride!

Your old stomping ground innit mate? :))
