Having read the comments about full outdoor covers I would like to know anyone's experience of using a "half cover" one that just covers the hood and screen.
I had a small size full cover by Halfords ( at the time Auto Express best value product 2018) which protected my old MG Midget without any adverse affect to the paint.
But tending to prefer the good hard wax treatment to my MR2 and leave exposed hence just using a half cover, especially as the 2 will be more frequently used.
No personal experience of full or half covers, but the comments on here have been positive for full covers, so I would think that a half cover could only be around half as good.
The half cover, I guess, would protect the soft top fabric and should be easier to put on and take off on a regular basis than a full cover. The paint work could be protected by the wax treatment. However, treatments are also available for the OE vinyl roof and after market fabric roofs.
As in all things you make your choice and pay your money, one way or another.
