Does anyone know where the best place is to get some exhaust gaskets?
I need gaskets for the backbox to the 2 tail sections on the TTE exhaust and the Catalytic Convertor to Rear Backbox gasket.
Thanks
Iv used both of below for these with good service :)
TCB Parts - http://www.tcbparts.co.uk/
GT4-Play - https://gt4-play.co.uk/
I got the main gasket and the two crush/O-rings from TCB, took a while, but OEM parts and decently priced:
90917-06065 (O-rings)
17173-22010 (gasket) - note this was replaced by: 17173-0D020
worth getting the studs and nuts too, unless yours' are pretty new:
Nuts 90179-08228 (x5)
Studs 90126-08043 (x5)
Nuts 90179-10070 (x3)
Studs 90116-10146 (x3)
Thanks but looking at images online these look like the manifold and manifold to cat gaskets, I need the ones after that for the box in and 2 out's.
I wonder if these could be generic exhaust gaskets, so if you get the right size they should crush in?
This is the cat to backbox gasket https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Exhaust-Gasket-Conical-Reinforced-Toyota-MK3-MR2-MR-S-Universal-CAT-to-Back-box/283541844837?hash=item4204693365:g:gU8AAOSwfkldI2sq
I'm not sure what other gaskets you're meaning. I haven't had a TTE, but I believe one tail pipe is fixed, & the other one may be a sleeve-type fit with a clamp so that the angle is adjustable...might be wrong though.
If you have a backbox that has gaskets I doubt it's a TTE.
TCB as mentioned is usually cheapest if more than one item is required.

sorry, you're right: mine are the exhaust manifold... NOT the lower part of the exhaust system.
Here is the TTE exhaust both tailpipes are bolted on, circled in red.
