Just came across the video below about the A110.

I couldnt help but think that all the comparisons relate very well to the MR2 and about reasons for modifying / not modifying your suspension.
Definitely worth a watch if you are trying to decide what to do with your suspension (or thinking about buying an Alpine?).
I'm always thinking of buying an Alpine ;D Its the only car that I'd swap Foxy for. ;D Its also exclusive too which I like.
The most striking is that motorjournalist raving about the A110 nów suddenly don´t need luggage space. Odd no?!
Anyway; a pretty good and relativating ´explanation´ of gains and losses.
A detail: Notice the subrtke change in his voice changing in the set ups. ´Focusssed´ is a neat eufemism for stiffer you can héar ;D
Chapeau to him making clear that even the manufacturers ´S´ option is already too smooth surface, track oriented for real world roads.
Also notable btw how little the car is lowered by both ´S´ and tuner.
Thanks for sharing.
The standard MR2 being the very same concept and a véry well sorted road car is indeed subject to akin observations. More markedly so actually, because the simpler McPherson leg suspension all around is more ´linear´ direct in the results.
Oh my, the OEM release of the ´Rally´ A110 has a ....

The wing located forward and the rear flush with the lip.

I've got one last year, still have mr2zz too. It's very tempting comparison as it's very similar layout, what strikes me most is how much more rear grip does a110 have - with stock average 235 tires. Well sorted mr2 with 225 semis is nowhere near it. As expected it's softer and flows through all bumps and corners like no tomorrow, and with dct it's almost too fast for the road, unlike 250hp suggests. With manual shifter and lower grip, you don't need to go as fast to have fun...
