Just tried to fit some PFL red leather seats into a FL car and the seat belts won't lock in the buckles.
Both passenger and driver side have the same issue, so I'm assuming that FL seat belts are not compatible with PFL buckles..?
My car is a 2004 FL model and the seats came out of a 2000 PFL model.
Is my assumption correct please?
@steeleyscoot I've read on here that certainly is the case. Can't remember what the work round was. Likely swoping the "sockets".
You need the FL female parts of the buckles; the ones fitted to the original seats. Either swap them fronm the old seats of get them from a breaker.
This applies too when fitting bucket seats. I was lucky to have found out in time so got the compatible set in afvance.
