Title: Brake Pipes
Post by: 675Jim on August 29, 2020, 16:18
Anyone know if the pfl front rigid brake pipes are the same as the fl ones?  I've damaged one end fitting braided lines and can only find fl ones advertised for sale. Failing that, anyone got a ns front brake pipe for a pfl that they are fed up of tripping over?!

Cheers,

Jim

I have not heard of any difference myself and its not something the manufacturer would want to do. You can always state the year of your car when you order in case there is a difference and they send ones which dont fit?

The only thing I have heard mentioned ocassionally is the rear calipers being listed as different by, I think, Brakeparts international but not sure what, if any, the differnce is on them?

Makes sense.  Might just try my hand at making up a new one out of some kunifer pipe.  Wish me luck!

Good luck! Not too bad a job, worth buying a decent pipe flaring tool though.
