Hi is there anyway to get at the top of the bolts to spray lube on them to aid with removal? I have looked in the engine bay but tops appear hidden?
I have tried to undo one of the 4 big bolts and it seemed very tight with lots of resistance when turning and I dont want to shear it off

I've had subframes that were scrap because the cam bolts were rust welded on.

There is no access, I'm afraid. They ARE sturdy high-tensile bolts, though. Work them backwards and forwards in small increments - they'll come out.

Thankyou for your advice, I got the fear and backed off undoing them but I will take my time and work with them.
My new map gas blow torch did a great job of freeing the rear toe bolts off! Nearly up there with the oxy acetylene at my work
If it's mounting bolts that attach subframe to car, my other coupes of same age were prone to rot. Those bolts went into a captive nut welded to the car with no access. Sometimes these nuts would just tear away the area around them so bolts would just spin. One car I bought from a guy who gave up on this n even gave me new sub that he couldn't fit cos he couldn't get old one off. Best £200 I ever spent 😄

What do you do in that scenario? Cut an access port window out of the chassis leg? I am assuming they are hidden in that cavity?
I just plated the holes then bolt straight through the car into boot. Not as designed but stronger than before and passes mot etc. The main thing is getting it off firstly even if bolts shear, then you have access to deal with it.
