Title: Great suprise, amazing !!
Post by: Mr2paul on November 6, 2020, 17:47
Hi everyone, I do hope you are keeping well as folk here are dropping like flies . Anyway I decided to bite the bullet and look / see how my new baby is doing. I no iv chosen the easy option of osf but anyhow after wheel off n a scrub things look ok, iv mucked out the compost heap that was laying in the wing, but I don't no how to take inner plastic out without ripping it To bits in my heat of anger ! After blowing it out I was amazed to see no rust at all apart from some on a chassis member and the wing at its most tender part is like brand new, I'm amazed ! Love getting home knackered then crawling about in the dark to see how things are. Next step is to strip the calipers as iv seen some Disney figures on new so fits to that. I don't mind refurbing if anyone has some spare ?. A good wax oil based treatment in my trusty spray bottle does the job having been thinned down with turps or oil n heated. Though it can get used when cold which pure wax oil will not do n forget the sprayers as they are shit . I love black wax as you can see where you've been but that's just a Yorks thing. Hoping for advise on how to take out bottom of inner guard without destroying or any other advise to a total newbie is welcome .  Many thanks.

@Mr2paul
If you have removed the frunk plastic cover then you will have seen some popper type clips. If not have a look at them and then look at the wheel arch liner where you will see similar clips there are one or two ( white) clips that iirc need turning with a screw driver, but no " ripping it to bits" necessary. You will likely need to replace some because they will break you will find replacements for these and others here:
