Hi all, I'm not being lazy but after a long search iv failed to find such a thing, ford ka,s have a rust issue so iv fitted 1 on those but the 2 doesn't seem to have many after market styling bits. My 1999 f2 evos had lots of bits but I'm stuck on this 1, any ideas ?
There is / was such an embellishment, maybe only available now used, iirc I have seen at least one advertised on here.
TTE did one

The odd TTE one comes up for sale on the Facebook groups occasionally but be prepared as they usually sell for £50 upwards for a genuine one.

some pepole say it does not go with a yellow 2.
I say it cost a lot so it going on plus it helps me as reminder to what side my fuel cap is on as i forget about the arrow where the fuel gaguge is :-[ :-[

You beat me to it, I knew they weren't plastic like a Halfrauds special but always assumed they were polished stainless rather than chromed.👍🏻

Easy enough to produce in stainless. Boris is always having profiles cut -maybe he'll do a few? If there's a demand, I might have a few done.
This is the type of product that I think would be good to have in the Club shop. It would be more expensive than most of the other stuff but it is the type of product that new members will ocassionally look for rather than the type of product that sells out immediately (as that would be a pain for the person running the shop).
This means that the Club becomes a source of hard to get parts and raises our profile and may attract more members to join.
I like the way this is working ! Finally I have posted something thing that in time maybe good, or perhaps a venture including other makes of car. The ones I fitted to a ka are polished stainless and did look rather good. They are to mask the rot around filler and rear wiper which they suffer from, but I can't find where I got them from .
Finally I found them , 6 different sizes in stainless or polished. £15. Which is ok with me. Hope this helps .

I'm guessing you intended to post a link!
@Snelbaard get cracking :)
To be quite frank I found it difficult to find the motivation to make these, as I really don't like how they look. But I will look into this, can't be too hard.
How would these be fixed to the car though? I don't reckon the bolt holes are real?

I would guess this is a trim ring attached to the filler flap?
One now available in Club auction

Seen the price of Rolexi?
A 10€ Casio F91W is 10 times more accurate.
And since this is a car forum; a street legal Ferrari, Königsegg, McLaren with practical use?
I personally do not get the surround either but looks áre functional to the vast mayority of mankind and that starts with the cólour of a car. Dayglow orange or green would be fúnctional, the rest is taste. ´Sable´ p.e. is just about a camo colour; poorly visible so .... but it sure can be níce; colour shifting in different lights conditions.

Watches are pointless these days.
Colour of a car is really unimportant. I never wanted a yellow car then one turned up with a V6 so I bought it.
I hate pfl green but if one comes up with a spec I like I'll buy it.

I positively loath grey yet my last three were.

Open minded not closeted with dogmatic principles.
Unless you want to permanently fit a HT then I get positively medieval.
