Title: Clutch Change
Post by: Johnny5 on January 3, 2021, 00:49
Hi Folks,
My clutch appears to need changing as it's slipping under acceleration.

Anyone know a good place to go to get it done (I'm near Camberley in Surrey), and roughly what's the damage?
Thanks

You're usually looking around the 250-300 mark supplied and fitted.

(45 per hour x 4, + materials)

LUK clutches are cheap, robust and nice and light.

As for where; I'll leave that to someone closer to you :)
Is Patrick Chambers too far?

Anyone can do a clutch anywhere local should do.

Scotte is spot-on.

It's pretty much the same job as on any small front-wheel drive car.

A good local family run garage, with good reviews, is your best bet.

Cool.  Panic over.  I was thinking big money

No way.

My LUK cost 56 quid and took 4.5hrs without a lift, with a mate.
So a qualified garage would do this with their eyes closed.
