Hi all
Just wondering how I get access to the user marketplace for parts/cars? 2021 is my year as an owner. Big plans.

Hear Trump moved. Are you him?
No seriously; you need a minimum of 30 (or is it 50?) posts.
Wellcome, have fun!
LOL!! I just don't want to create 30/50 posts for the sake of it. I would rather donate into the club and waste peoples time :) Can the admin team help? I don't have FB to get access to other seller groups.

@GRiches
You've been too much of a stranger on here to have enough posts to get into the Sales section.
I'm not sure about the rules but a starting point would be to say whereabouts in the Universe you are as they won't fit into a post/ letterbox. If you click onto your name on one of your posts you will go to a place that will repeat the details of when you joined. On the left of that place is " posts" click on that and you will see the previous times you've asked for this or that.
Not many posts to go to become legitimate, get involved just a little , this is a Club whose Members exchange views , thoughts and talk about a shared passion and sometimes buy and sell amongst themselves. Not eBay or Exchange and Mart.

It is something I want to start doing and you would think with the pandemic I would have more free time but I recently bought a house and that's where my spare time has gone. However with the warmer days coming up I know my 2 will be coming out to play.

Noted. please accept my apologies.
So to share a little more about my car, I got it feb 2019 and its only done 40k miles. I have a silver with red leather heated seats and managed to tastefully upgrade the stereo and speakers. I have managed to purchase a TTE style bar and a genuine ducktail which I got installed/painted September last year.
the plans this year are to finally find a hardtop, have the manifold swapped by Kev at zero exhausts and calipers/wheels touched up.
I am also hoping ding day goes ahead - covid permitting to come and meet you all.
And the door should now be open.
30 is the target and you are there now.

Zero as I understand it to be best quality on offer, am I wrong? And last time I spoke to Kev he had started making other parts so it may be worth another conversation. Any suggestions? I am not interested in the car for power etc I love it the way Toyota made it. I just want to ensure its mechanically as sound as possible.
Cheers.
Thank you :)

Then you may as well stick with what you have.
The zero looks very well made and seems to make good power with other supporting mods but there is little reason to fit one for the sake of it.
If your pre cats haven't failed by now they are unlikely to and a cheap manifold from ebay will do the job anyway.

Ok thanks, do you have any recommendations? There are a few on there but I always seem to read mixed reviews - I wouldn't be looking to use the supplied parts except the manifold itself. My engine doesn't burn oil but I am looking at all ways to try and preserve its lifespan.
Cheers

I would probably leave well alone then.
You'll only need new O2 sensors if you start mucking about they usually don't respond well to being removed.
I had no idea there was a marketplace. Cheers for the info
Time to get busy with the posts.
Seen anything of interest on the roads today?
Done anything to your 2?
Have any questions that need answering?

As I mentioned in "On the road today" a corroding Hyundai.
Left my 2 snuggled up, under four duvets in the garage. ( Tomorrow I swop the battery charger from my daily to my 2)
Who invented the ironing board?

Pleased to hear it. I enjoyed using mine for the past 5 odd months. As you are retired, I imagine you will be able to make up for lost time.
Seriously. Do you get a heightened sense of pleasure and excitement when the covers come off and the tax goes on?
Not that it is measurable. But I just wonder. I look forward to driving mine every time I get in.
Not sure I would feel more pleasure having not been in for 6 months vs the sadness of not having been in for 6 months.
Thats what you do. Thats what I do. All good.
