I have to agree it's great weather for a 2 and if you could be reunited with chilli that would be amazing.
I will also keep an eye out for anything special as promised should the above not be possible.

As the weather improves a few more 2s will come out of hiding and be up for sale.

Would tend to agree, I had a 30 mile round trip to do yesterday and took the opportunity to give the 2 a run.

Good weather really makes these cars make sense  8)

Could not agree more. Not that mine has not seen active service during the cooler months.
According to the gizmo, if shows sun all day. So normal BST may resume. We shall see.

Confession time- today is the first day of driving my MR2 top down, no rattles or squeeks, sunshine, country roads, too many b----y cyclists. Perhaps spring has sprung....

Still haven't managed to take the hard-top off, let alone figure out where I'm going to store it here (might be able to clear out enough room in the shed if I'm lucky).

I did pick up a second hand bike from a friend today, not a roadster but no roof...

Sell it. Problem solved and a few wine tokens to the good.

When I did have one. I ended buying a dedicated bag and hanging it on the garage wall.

2021s best bit of advice and we're only in February.
With that kind of problem solving Jason should be Prime Minister.

Not sure about bringing back the stocks mate and I think burning mx5 drivers at the stake is a bit strong. Just burn the cars instead.

Originally built to hold four NO2 piston accumulators, and simply adapted, I gave my hardtop stand a fresh coat of paint ready for the top coming off very shortly.  I also cleaned the cover.

I expect some praise from the soft-top fascisti, for taking it off!

Not a lot -but some!

Today is a good day to remove it.
Hope the paint is dry.
Clear, bright, sunny and temps in double figures. What more do you need.

Go for it.

It'll go in the garage when I move :) Maybe give the shed another tidy then should be space. Car needs a wash now though, covered in dust. Only so much the when the little one is napping after lunch!
