There is likely to be a waitrose nearby where you can do essential shopping.
I bet they cannot believe their luck, when they choose to name a range of goods as "essential" long before this current state of affairs.

Well, I emailed twice to the Garage explaining what I'd like to know about the car - condition of rear crossmember, tyres, roof condition, etc. etc. They did get back to me on the second email. He totally ignored most of my questions and focused on how many services it had had (total number 11) and that it had recently had new discs, pads, spark plugs, coil which is all good but I knew all that from reading the advert. If they can't answer my questions, what else are they hiding? Not sure whether to persue this or not. What do you all think?

Jane they probably don't even know how to look at the rear cross member or any of the other common issues.
If Rob doesn't mind let him go have a look otherwise take a pass on this one.
You'd think they'd know where to look for the roof and tyres, wouldn't you? I think I'd better hang on to see whether Chilli may come available at some point, at least I know where she's been :o

I've just double checked and I see they are open between 9-4 on a Saturday - I thought they were shut. I know this is a big big ask - but are you around on Saturday to view for me Rob by any chance please? I will definitely pay travel expenses for your trouble. If you are, but please don't worry if you're not free, I'll contact the garage for an appointment.
A second email (automated one) has just come to me to say they are closed due to the pandemic so god knows what they're up to - there was no word of closure on the first email this morning! Shall just forget all about this one. Thanks Rob, anyway. :-\

I've found this more and more with dealers they simple can't be bother as they know someone will prob buy and ask a lot less.
It's enough to put you off if they can't be more enthusiastic when selling they will be a nightmare should you have any issues.
It's a waiting game but something will come a long just you wait and see.

Hi Mick, please don't feel bad, I'm just pleased that Foxy has gone to you and I know that you will look after her and that you're keep her looking great. If I'm honest, I'd have my first Chilli red back tomorrow but I don't think it'll be for sale. Any colour really as long as it's been maintained well particularly in the engine department, cosmetically, things can always be sorted. ;D
The supercharged car is now fully fettled and up for sale. Gibla has had it mapped and it's now done 3,000 miles since it was commissioned, so it should be reliable.
It's very clean underneath too.
And it's a tidy PFL.

There's a lie mileage 05 plate on eBay located in Gosport. Silver. Is this 2 on the side? Anyway might be worth a look.
For those looking for a project there are two 2's on eBay.
A 2003 Silver with Hard top at 80 k miles via dealer at £2495 seats have covers in pics so may or may not be good.
But the HT makes it worth considering.
A 2000 Silver at 80k Miles private auction at £1420 currently.
