Title: Air conditioning system parts
Post by: ianhendy50 on March 31, 2021, 22:04
Hi there, new to the forum, my wife has owned a 2000 twice (bought it back a couple of years ago) and I am now completing  rolling restoration, brakes, suspension, wheels, tyres are done.  Paint is next hopefully. I have been working on the ar conditioning system and got it working, but have a leak at the lock or speed sensor on the compressor, amd the 2x lines that run underneath bulkhead.

Does anyone on here actually have a working system, is there such a thing at the age of the cars now, or have parts that have been removed as part of a weight saving activity?

Thanks,

Ian.

Welcome  Ian.
I have a working system - use it or lose it (and I don't mean as part of a weight saving 'exercise').

2005 model, 65k miles.  Specifically bought an aircon model in October 2019.  It worked but wasn't "cold cold".  Had it regassed May 2020, been lovely ever since.
