Has any one, or does anyone know of, it being done to a 2?

Only heard of it on a friend's motor home.
PS Bee 6 hasn't quite left the premises and you are already looking for the next challenge?
There was one guy. He had the air tank and compressor in the frunk. A very neat installation

The Suspense was killing me.

Don't forget to wear your cap back to front.
The trouble with air ride is that when you drop it down, the suspension becomes soft, when you raise it, it becomes hard so the complete opposite of what you actually need for a usable car.
Better to just photoshop a picture of your car!
It is a lót of extra weight and complication. No quite what the MR2 is.
I beg to differ, its a great way to add unsprung weight. Also fo sho.
Can't lie
@Carolyn,it seems an odd question coming from you.
You don't seem like the "because bagged yo" kind of person.
Other than by Citroën, I don't think I've ever seen bags used sensibly
Well, that got everybody going, didn't it?
I didn't say I wanted to do it, did I?
I know lots of people have done lots of seemingly dodgy things to our2s (17" wheels, for example ;D ).
It came out of a discussion David and I were having and I was curious to see if anyone had done it.

I've always liked the odd things people have done to their 2s.
Bags, raised and off-roader, full on track beasts, driveway princess, massive turbos, superchargers, NOS, etc... Guess just shows how versatile a platform it is.

I added bags as extra suspension on my previous car. Could inflate/deflate as needed.
Had to take it off because MoT withdrew the permit because it can only have the suspension as per design ánd only one system, not two however wel integrated.
A pita because it worked a treat.
Yes
Another.

:)) :)) :)) How did I miss this 1st time round?
It's a pity the car looks ridiculous, under the bonnet of the top one looks very neat.
I'll just leave this here (not sure if you saw this on the Book of the Face

There's stupid and then there's the above. I just wonder why?
Quote from: Carolyn on June 1, 2021, 15:24Oh dear.
Was on the Spyder group. Most people were taking the biscuit. One fella though got really offended by the comments, banging on about "keep it static".
Horses for courses.
Like so much in the 21st century style over substance.
Reminds me of pimped offroad cars and luxury utes.
I kinda dig it though, the stanced MR2s; só Manga. That´s a why? example; because you like it. Most MR2 owners do not nearly corner quick enough for the concept to make sense for them anyway.
I´d like thréé MR2s:
- one as light as possible, set up for corner hunting
- one set up higher with skid plates for caminos, ´baja´ riding
- one stanced Manga cartoon car for fun
