Title: Alternator at 11v
Post by: EJMK3 on July 12, 2021, 11:56
Alternator not charging properly, only reaching 11v. Looks like it'll need to be replaced... Best place to get a refurbished/ new? Cheers

Been there... Recently.
I bought one off ebay for 49gbp
Seems to be doing the trick.

They are rare to fail so a 2nd hand off a breaker from Andrew Henderson (JSpec) or Dick Sloan would be fine as well. Generally they charge about 45gbp shipped

I would take a chance on a good used original Denso like shnazzle recommended. Those remanufactured alternators are a hit or miss. Brand new Denso alternators are super expensive for a good reason.
