Title: Door Speakers
Post by: Anonymous on May 9, 2005, 13:42
Just about to replace the existing door speakers with component units.
Using the OE Fisher Price head unit and the OE wiring does anyone know the correct way to wire up the crossover unit?
The passenger door has purple/silver & Pink/silver wires, not looked at the drivers door yet.

Thanks

you are right the stock speakers do not have a cross over as such but the tweeter has a diode behind it that acts as one.
I need to know the + and - wire to input the new proper crossove unit.

Thanks

Help Please
Anyone got a wiring diagram that could tell me the + wire in each door so that I can wire up the crossovers?
What happens if I get it wrong?
