Title: Leak !
Post by: Anonymous on May 9, 2005, 19:40
Had my '2' now for over 3 months and its been fine, out in torrential rain and even done the odd long testing drive all with no problem.

Driving the 22 miles home tonight and the car had been sat in the dry all day in the car park at work then just before leaving we had a torrential downpour. Left work as it stopped and drove home, about 2 miles from work I heard a big watery sloosh noise as I went round a very sharp left hand uphill corner at about 15mph (slightly sideways) but thought nothing of it.

On arriving home I find the atlas in the passenger cubby hole is wet and I have acquired little pools of water in the bottom of the cubbys !?! Upon further investigation it looks like the water came in from under the parcel shelf as the carpet there was slightly wet  s:( :( s:(  .
Any suggestions, as I'm a bit puzzled, its hardly critical and I'll see if it does it agin before crying to Toyota but has anyone come accross this before ?
