Coming thick and fast from a variety of sources in recent months.

Was greatly mistaken in thinking the MR2 was far more expensive than a comparable MX5 in 2005

So the much better handling, fun car was increasingly shunned by buyers until its demise in 2006

Perceived lack of storage along with a just-announced + released new model Mazda (NC) can be the only reasoning afaik.

It was my misconception that the MR2 was appreciably more expensive - but it was slightly more expensive.

However, estimated depreciation was markedly different if you examine the data
