Title: Flickering Passenger Headlight (LED) And Issue With termarket LED Running Lights
Post by: Erudite on December 24, 2021, 13:17
Hi,

My car was sat for a few months and since starting it up the passenger side LED headlight is flickering and the aftermarket running lights have stopped working completely (fitted by previous owner).

Any ideas on where to start?

I suspect the two issues are unrelated.

Flickering headlight is possibly a poor connection at the headlamp. Disconnect, clean with contact cleaner and re-connect.

The running lights could be the switch, or the relay.

Sorry to be old fashioned here but LED headlights remain illegal in the UK as aftermarket upgrades unless type approved.

The cheap headlight LED bulbs do not last long and they will flicker once they go bad.
You should remove them right away and replace them with standard bulbs.
