I have an Ogura TX12 supercharger fitted from a Corolla. Does anybody have any guidance on sourcing oil for this SC. The Ogura recommended oil is Klubersynth GH 6-80 but it only seems to be available in large formats at substantial cost. There's a seller on Ebay offering an equivalent but thought I'd ask on here if there are other options.

@rusty0273 are you on any MR2 facebook groups?
Surely it's just a case of finding the oil specs and taking anything that matches the same specs?

Yes I'm on the main Roadster Owners and the 2ZZ projects groups.

As its an engine-out job on the Roadster, and a specialist lubricant, I reckon its worth consulting for some opinion and making sure I get the right stuff.

Fair enough.
@Carolyn any thoughts?
That supercharger is pretty much the same as an Eaton M45 or M60.
There are a few specialist supercharger oils on offer for this type of supercharger, and also very expensive specialist bearing grease. I've used this stuff on an M45 with (it seems) good results.
A search of supercharger service kits will throw up a few options. (Though they all seem to consist of the same stuff).
If
@rusty0273 has the 2ZZ with supercharger straight out of a Corolla mounted in its original position, which seems to be the way this has been done, it will, indeed be a piglet to get at.

The Ogura is actually one of two (that I know of) 1zz superchargers, believe it or not. Hens teeth would be easier to find. Well done rusty
