Title: Anyone any good with Air bag faults
Post by: pistol pete on September 14, 2022, 17:37
So as some of you know my car was fully stripped for track
I even had the SRS ecu removed.
So putting it back on the road, i have put all sensors back inc, the seat belts
I have put the pass air bag back in and then the SRS ecu

I had a solid air bag light on the dash all the time, I was fine with this as I knew I didn't have the drivers airbag in the car.
I have now fitted my nicely retrimmed steering wheel in the car, with the standard airbag.

I left the battery disconnected overnight to hopefully clear any faults. Now the air bag light flashes.
is there any way of reading fault codes on the airbag system? or when it flashed what it means

cheers

You are going to need use of a code reader/scanner for that.
It will point you to which circuit the fault is on.
