Title: Low dust brake pads
Post by: Craigjm on November 28, 2024, 13:47
I need to do a brakes overhaul on the new blue similar to what I did on the old silver one. Used pagid pads and discs on that and they were great but the amount of brake dust they created was massive. I am looking at going for white wheels on the blue car so want as minimal dust as possible. That got me thinking ceramic pads so EBC redstuff but I can only find the rears for sale. Any other alternative ceramics that you know about? if not then what do you suggest for low dust? Pagid are out, EBC yellowstuff dust like crazy. What are the OEM Toyota pads like?

The OEM pads are low dust and work very well. They also seem to last a long time.

The set I had on my silver car were some of the dustiest pads I've ever experienced. Never again

How odd. I find them quite minimal.

Yep they were terrible so they were the first ones off the list. Worked well just had to clean the calipers and wheesl literally every couple of days
