Hi mate, I'm afraid that's not a "tick", that's a knock. Not sure if it's possible to dislodge a shim on these engines, if not may be little end gone. Either way, not good but others here are way more knowledgeable than I.

Hello and welcome,

It could also be an exhaust leak, they can sound very similar.  Such a sharp sound is often caused by a leak at the join between exhaust manifold and the cat, or a small hole in a flexi.

There are no shims to dislodge, if it is  engine knock, it will be a spun rod bearing.

Is this some figure of speech that I am not aware of?
The Dremel I understood to be a compact high speed rotating tool holder that can be fitted with various drills and grinding stones for the removal of unwanted material!
