After a good few years with minimal work to get the car through a MOT, I thought this year it would just need the handbrake cables replaced.
But with a growing belly and an older body, finding it harder to crawl under the car, I missed a couple of things.
front drop links and ...
subframe (ouch)
front tyres (advisory)
Will need to get a comprehensive wheel alignment done as well.
Guess I will need to rob my piggy bank this year :'(
Oh dear.
Unfortunately it's probably easier to fix the car .
Remember to order the correct sub frame.
FL and PFL Sub frames.
If I remember correctly.
You can use either on a pfl car. But has to be an FL sub on an FL car.
Sorry to hear about the subframe!
Good luck getting it sorted easily and just keep telling yourself that once its done, it wont need doing again!
I have both PFL and FL subframes - £150.00(PFL) and £180.00 (FL) plus postage
Both in excellent conditions

Not at all. Only that spare parts, new or "pre loved", are more readily available for our cars. The only requirement being money.
As Dr Frankenstein had his licence revoked some time ago we have to take care, as best we can, of what we have, or consider Titanium replacements as someone on here has found necessary.
