Post by: MR2H on July 1, 2025, 14:31
Hi

Please can anyone identify this spring ??....... it was on the floor drivers side.... I had dropped the tank jacked up drivers side and replaced handbrake cable.... jacked up passenger side rear to change handbrake cable on that side... then noticed this spring on the floor under drivers side rear... ?? No idea where it cam from and I haven't removed it it's literally fallen off from some where as I was jacking the car up.....

@MR2H

Having taken off , refurbished  and / or replaced front and rear suspension and braking systems I do not recall seeing any such spring.
The only place perhaps there could  be such is under the " transmission" tunnel in connection with the hand brake.
Maybe it's from elsewhere such as a garage door?

never seen it either - could it have dropped out of your jack? (although I've never checked if my jacks have springs)
