Title: Wheel Nuts for PFL
Post by: Whisperhead on July 30, 2025, 11:45
Me again with another newbie question.

I've recently discovered that the previous owner fitted locking wheels nuts onto my MR-S, but they are the tapered type, and my car should have flat face nuts.

I'm going to get rid of the locking nuts anyway, but am a little confused with the types I now need as there are three listed under the same part number on JapanParts schematics.

I have 2000 reg PFL MR-S with the 5-spoke alloys. Ive seen talk around that there are long and short types for front/rear. Is anyone able to tell me exactly which ones I need please? Are they all the same size nut for front and rear on my car? Pretty sure the alloys are factory fitted ones.

Certainly, on FL, they are different lengths (depths) i would imagine to account for the different rim widths.

Do they have to be new? Worth a shout to @J-SPEC if not. I'm pretty sure they'll have a few hundred in stock.
