Title: MR2 MK3 W30 Crank position sensor.
Post by: 75W-90gbox on July 30, 2025, 13:29
Hi all, reassembling my engine, on my MR2 MK3 W30. I have hit a problem with the crank sensor connector, it happily goes together but.  Crank sensor connector flying lead behind the inlet manifold, the lead from the sensor has a black connector which goes into a grey connector fixed to a bracket just above and to the right of the alternator, is this correct. It seems to be the only shared colour on the loom.

Thank you, for your reply, now all ready to refit the engine after a rebuild.
It just seemed odd that it was a black connector to grey connector, possibly had a new one before my ownership.
