Hi all

any recommendations for oil weight for the 1zz turbo?

I'm thinking 5w40 but open to what others are using

I don't know the answer, but the more expensive oils break down less at high temps than a 'regular' 5w40

I used to run millers Fully synthetic 5w30 in my turbos

I used Fuchs titan pro race in the 2zz but I'm pretty sure 5w40

Has a Mr T turbo installation!
My daily diesel also has turbo, now at 110k , recommended is 5.30 but the diesel is slower rpm..

Who remembers Duckhams Q20-50, those were the days!
Now referred to as Classic, back then it was often Necessary!

Do you not have the little extra service booklet?
States 0-40 in there and change at 7500km
