So the title was, "Can you get a 2k sports car?" So I started reading it expecting the little Roadster to be there. To my bitter disappointment, no mention of the little car. Instead, BMW Z3, Audi TT, MX5, MGTF and would you believe it a Renault Wind. Why is the little 2 never mentioned much these days and please don't say impractical cos it ain't. Rant over. :o

I do agree, but on plus side it keeps the costs down for us and the others that know what a bloody brilliant little sports car it is.
I had a BMW Z3 before my MR2 and there's no comparison. The Z3 was the 6 pot 2ltr which was a lovely smooooooth engine but overall it was dull. The MR2 feels alive and like you're connected to it, I love it!
That ^^^
I am annoyed with Mr T who had been teasing about an announcement about the MR2 to be made at the recent Tokyo motorshow.
What they actually showed was an offroad kei pickup truck!
Not sure who thought that was a good idea.
But back on topic, there is certainly something that makes the 2 invisible to a lot of press and buyers!
