Title: Hard top blanking plate bolts
Post by: fawtytoo on April 27, 2026, 14:14
Sorry about the title. It's a bit difficult to describe in just a few words.

I'm thinking of selling my hard top in favour of using a full cover. I have a pair of blanking plates to put in place of the chrome hooks but have no bolts for them and have no idea what to use. The fixing bolts for the chrome hooks are in a different place to the blanking plates.

I just wondered what you hard topless owners have.

It just uses the rearmost one. m6 probably, 12/15mm length.  If not m6 it'll be m8.

Never considered that. I automatically thought the hooks and blank plates shared the same fixings.

Day school every.

My powers of observation are lacking. There are 3 bolts which means I can keep one for the blanking plates.
