Having looked up when I fitted the rear calipers. I also noticed.
In Feb 2021 I fitted 4x iridium plugs. I'm thinking with 20,000 on them they would still have plenty of life in them. That said the recommendation is to change at 5 years.
Do they need changing or perhaps just undoing and then nip back up?
Open to suggestions.
I reckon they've still got years of life left in them. Of course they want you to change them, that's how they sell you some more.
https://www.partsinmotion.co.uk/
Parts in Motion list various manufacturers rear calipers for your 2.
I bout KYB shocks and brake hoses from them. Shocks all fine , hoses two visibly different batches for the hoses. My OCD was soothed as they changed them with no problem.
My rear calipers I bought iirc from a distributor of a Scaninavian manufacturer CK or something similar) They came with a 5 year warranty and no problem in my ownership.
PS
On Ebay
A company is offering calipers with matching part numbers with 5 year warranty:

My 2 had an OE Denso sensor when i sold the car last year. That sensor was 23 years old. 60k+ miles. The life of such a sensor is not too different from a spark plug.
In days of old the spark plug recommendation was to remove, check colour and gap, adjust as necessary give it a brush ( brass brush) and refit if all ok.
@Joesson If I'm reading that right. That's 2 for less than I last paid for 1. :o
But if changing every year....

Great price but the same issue, they state 1999 2002.
Is there are difference or not?
We know there are difference in PFL FL cables. Is there a difference in calipers? Seems one area even this group of knowledgeable people have not 100% pinned down.

Is there are difference or not?Reading on in the ad. OE numbers are shown that seemed to match with those you posted.
They show all 4 part numbers that cover 99-02 and 02-05
The table above shows compatible across all years.
Brakes international is the only place I see that list diff parts for diff years.
So are they correct and everyone else wrong. Or they are wrong in the sense it is the same part but Mr T just changed the part number.
I am stepping away from that/this rabbit hole before it's too late. ;D
The time recommendation on a spark plug is about them seizing and becoming impossible to remove. Your low mileage doesn't need a change they just need removing and reseating. They will last 60000 miles
